GENERALLY SPEAKING CLASSES WILL END AROUND 5:00 PM BUT MAY RUN LONGER IN SOME INSTANCES. YOU MAY LEAVE ANYTIME YOU NEED TO BUT WE ENCOURAGE YOU TO BE PRESENT FOR EVERY WORD THAT IS SPOKEN BY THE DSA™ INSTRUCTORS.
RURAL TACTICS - 20 HOURS C.L.E.E.T. ACCREDITATION

This is a specialty course that provides an introduction to basic infantry tactics with a focus on:
- Individual Movement Techniques (“IMT”)
- Team Formations/Team Tactics
- Battle drills (A collective action rapidly executed without applying a deliberate decision-making process. Locate, suppress, neutralize!)
- Discussion and implementation of:
- Mission, Enemy, Terrain/weather, Troops - Time, Civilian Considerations (“METT-TC”); and,
- Observation, Cover and Concealment, Obstacles, Key Terrain, Avenues of Approach (“OCOKA”).
Which supports leader’s reconnaissance, hasty planning and execution on an identified target.
PREREQUISITES
This course is designed for an individual officer/operator working in, and/or around rural environments in commission of their duties. However, please note:
Trained and vetted civilian students of DSA™ may be granted admission subject to Owner approval. If you are a civilian student of DSA™ purchasing this course does not guarantee you admission until you have received Owner approval. You must call or email your qualifications to be considered for admission. You may purchase the course to hold your seat pending review of your request. If you are denied admission your purchase will be refunded.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check is required for admission into all DSA™ courses.

Serviceable agency issued or personal rifle. |

Ammunition: |
500 rounds rifle ammunition. |
PPE: |
ANSI rated eye protection, electronic ear protection, lightweight gloves, and knee pads. |
Clothing: |
Long pants, long sleeves, and hat. We will get dirty! |
Tactical Gear: |
Issued Vest, Rhodesian Chest rig, etc. |
Water: |
Hydration is a MUST. Bring enough water to stay hydrated. |
Food: |
We eat when we can. Bring food that will sustain your energy in a time efficient manner. |
Bug Spray: |
We’ll be in the woods. |
