This is a specialty course that provides an introduction to basic infantry tactics with a focus on:
Individual Movement Techniques (“IMT”)
Team Formations/Team Tactics
Battle drills (A collective action rapidly executed without applying a deliberate decision-making process. Locate, suppress, neutralize!)
Discussion and implementation of:
Mission, Enemy, Terrain/weather, Troops - Time, Civilian Considerations (“METT-TC”); and,
Observation, Cover and Concealment, Obstacles, Key Terrain, Avenues of Approach (“OCOKA”).
Which supports leader’s reconnaissance, hasty planning and execution on an identified target.
PREREQUISITES
This course is designed for an individual officer/operator working in, and/or around rural environments in commission of their duties. However, please note:
Trained and vetted civilian students of DSA™ may be granted admission subject to Owner approval. If you are a civilian student of DSA™ purchasing this course does not guarantee you admission until you have received Owner approval.
