June 15 2024 - SEMI-AUTO Shotgun Course - 8 HOURS C.L.E.E.T. ACCREDITATION
Product Details

"The shotgun is the most versatile weapon in our arsenal. If you are a law enforcement officer, an avid 3-gun shooter or a civilian looking for the ultimate weapon you need to be very familiar with the semi-automatic shotgun."- Marshall K. Luton, Jr. (Owner/Operator)

In this one-day course you will be exposed to techniques currently in use by law enforcement and military personnel today. We’ll shoot from numerous positions and cover weapons transitions, shooting on the move and combat oriented courses of fire. After taking this course, students are astonished at how fast and accurate they are be able to operate their shotgun. From a law enforcement perspective, this class is a must! We cover target transitions, multiple target engagement and proper use of cover. By the end of this course, shooting on the move and reloading your shotgun will be second nature.

We will teach you efficiency in operating and manipulating a shotgun with a focus on:

  • Techniques that will allow you to operate a shotgun at lightning fast speeds.
  • Emphasis is placed on proper body positioning, trigger control, the shot cycle and multiple round engagement drills.
  • Transitioning from one shooting position to another to increase speed and efficiency of motion.
  • Speed reloads and combat reloads.
  • Offhand reloads, strong hand reloads, side saddle reloads, vertical reloads and loading pairs.
  • Proper follow through techniques.
  • Shooting and reloading on the move.
  • Proper use of cover and concealment.
  • Shooting from various barricaded positions.
  • Man-on-man drills.
  • Shotgun uses, including hostage situations.
  • 00 patterning at various distances.
  • Select a slug drills for weapon manipulation practice.
  • Slug sight in and shooting drills from various distances out to 50 yards.
